Abstract
The rapid expansion of digital technologies has significantly transformed various aspects of human life, including religion and spirituality. Digitalization has reshaped religious communication, learning, practice, and community engagement across the world. Buddhism, one of the world's oldest religious traditions, has also embraced digital platforms for the dissemination of teachings, meditation practices, religious education, and community interaction. This study examines the impact of digitalization on Buddhism in the contemporary era, focusing on religious practices, learning processes, and community engagement. Through an analytical review of existing literature, digital religious platforms, and contemporary Buddhist initiatives, the study explores the opportunities and challenges associated with digital religion. The findings suggest that digitalization has enhanced accessibility, global connectivity, and knowledge dissemination while simultaneously raising concerns regarding authenticity, commercialization, and the transformation of traditional religious experiences. The study concludes that digital technologies have become significant instruments for the preservation and evolution of Buddhism in the twenty-first century.
