The rapid advancement of digital technologies has significantly transformed the operations and services of university libraries worldwide. Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, Mobile Applications, and Digital Repositories have revolutionized information management and service delivery in academic libraries. The present study examines the adoption of emerging technologies in university libraries and evaluates their influence on user satisfaction, information retrieval efficiency, and service effectiveness. The study adopts an empirical research design involving 400 university library users from selected Indian universities. Statistical techniques including descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis are proposed to evaluate the relationships among technological adoption, user satisfaction, and service quality. The findings indicate that emerging technologies significantly enhance library accessibility, information retrieval speed, user engagement, and overall service effectiveness. The study recommends strategic technological integration, digital literacy programs, and continuous staff training to maximize the benefits of smart library environments.
